another day in . . .
Wednesday, December 1, 2010
hello! it's a raiiiinyyy raiiinnyyyy day. and i am just so sleepy. i can barely open my eyes & i'm like 18 slides away from the end of Intro to Sc&Tech Lecture #5. darnnnn. it's the only essay paper so there's no such thing as reading & flipping. i've been so distracted. i even read my Population Biology notes first. D: Kuhn Kuhn Kuhn & his structure of the Scientific Revolution. according to Hajar & her structure of studying. or more like mugging. can be classified as: Pre-Paradigm Paradigm 1 Paradigm 2 (which follows after a crisis; Paradigm crash) Paradigm n (after n crisis, after which my brain explodes and words just become fuzzy and nothing makes sense) Pre-paradigm a time when i just flip flip flip & read. absorbing any facts, important or not. knowledge is absorbed unsystematically, its not seen as adding to the existing facts in my brain or contributing to existing knowledge Paradigm 1 when i finally get what anything means. finally. and important facts finally stick to my mind. i start writing notes. at this stage, it is known as hajar finally understand what she reads. shes learning. Paradigm 2 then i go online and cross refer my notes to Wiki facts (though i shouldnt be but i'm desperate to understand something, anything) and i realise what i've been understanding isnt accurate.. and i refer to other websites.. they agree with Wiki, not me. these facts are outliers to me. accumulation of such anomalies causes Paradigm 1 to crash. welcome, Paradigm Shift/Gestalt Switch! now i have gotta read my notes again. |
